This is a story about money.
I feel compelled to write about this chapter of recovery for a couple of reasons: Because my upcoming ten year milestone has me thinking a lot about the holism of my recovery. Because how you do one thing is often how you do everything. Because addictions usually have a comorbid nature to them and sometimes it’s like playing whack-a-mole but more accurately, it’s like stretching out the paper doll chain of your issues, each its own but arm-in-arm in the same cute dress.
